How do I caption my photos?

There are two ways you can caption a photo. If you just want to caption one photo, browse to that photo and select 'Edit Captions' from the Photo menu. On this page you can enter a caption and description to the photo, as well as specify the date and photographer. It is worth noting that you can enter anything you want in the date field. For example, you can say 'Independence Day 2004' instead of 'July 4th, 2004'.

The other way to caption photos, especially more than one photo, is to use the 'Batch Command'. To do this, browse to the gallery you want to caption. Select 'Batch Command' from the Gallery menu. You will now be presented with a screen that shows all your photos in a tiny view. Check each photo you want to caption or simply press 'select all'. Next, select 'Captions' from the Batch Command drop down. Another drop down menu will appear where you can select one of two options. The first option "Edit one by one" allows you to edit each photo individually. The option "Edit one, adjust all" enables you to set the values of all the selected photos with the same value. This is handy when you want to edit the date or photographer of all your photos. Once you have selected your photos and your options, click on 'process'. On the next screen you can edit the caption, description, date and photographer of your selected photos.
