Creating galleries in Shutterbug Storefront is very easy. Just follow the 5 steps below.
1) Login into Shutterbug Storefront
2) Click on the 'Create a new gallery'
3) Select in which other gallery, if applicable, this new gallery should be created
4) Enter a name for your gallery
5) Click on 'Create Gallery'
Your gallery has now been created! You will now be asked if you want to upload some photos. If not, just click on 'Account -> Overview' to go back to the account overview screen.
Alternatively you can create galleries if you use FTP to upload by creating file directories that you can have made into galleries. For example, say you have just shot a multi-day sports tournament. You have your photos organized by day and by match. Consider uploading the following directory structure:
Sports Tournament\Saturday\Match 1
Sports Tournament\Saturday\Match 2
Sports Tournament\Saturday\Match 3
Sports Tournament\Sunday\Match 1
Sports Tournament\Sunday\Match 2
Sports Tournament\Sunday\Match 3
Sports Tournament\Sunday\Match 4
(you can of course change the names of the directories)
When you are done uploading, login into your account to process the images. Simply select the gallery where you want to place the tournament and click on 'Process'. Shutterbug Storefront will now create a gallery 'Sports Tournament' with two sub-galleries ('Saturday' and 'Sunday'). Those sub-galleries will then contain the galleries of the actual matches themselves.
PLEASE NOTE... that in creating sub-galleries (any of the methods) means that the newly created gallery will inherit all of the settings (under "edit settings") of the Parent Gallery under which it is created.
